Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona

I filed for divorce in AZ, and the Respondent sent the response paperwork to me at my home address, certified mail instead of the courts. Will I get penalized if I don't submit it for them. I know they were supposed to pay over $200.00 with the response and I don't want to be liable.

Are you sure you did not receive a copy? Respondent is required to serve a copy of the Response on you. You can check the case status on-line and if the Response was not filed, I recommend sending it back to Respondent with correspondence stating that you will file for a default judgment if the Response is not timely and properly filed.
