Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Arizona

Contracts

I signed a contract that says ''...I understand that all fees paid to (company's name) are nonrefundable. Cancellation of this will result in a 10% cancellation fee...''

No other papers state a cancellation policy. I have received ONE treatment from this company and would like to cancel further treatments. They have proceeded to tell me that since I have received one treatment I can not cancel my contract and that the 10% cancellation policy does not apply anymore.

Do they have the right to do that when there is nothing on any paper I signed that states after beginning treatment 10% cancellation fee no longer applies?

Hope that made sense. Thank you.

Re: Contracts

Based on the information you have provided...the company's position is not supported. Request that they put it in writing, specifically the contract provision that supports their position.
