Re: Immigration law

America accepts divorce from any country, which has jurisdiction over this divorce. One of the spouses has to live in the country issuing the divorce decree. It is controlled mostly by the law of the country issuing the divorce. In cases when neither spouse lived in the country where the divorce was issued, the divorce will not be legitimate.
