Re: power of attorney/will

A will validly executed in one state in conformity with the laws of that state is recognized in all 50 states without regard to the passage of time.

The content of a will, especially one drafted by a general practice small town attorney, cannot be verified without an examination of the will. We do that for free in our office by appointment.

You do not mention if you also have a Personal Medical Directive and Health Care Power of Attorney. If you are disabled that may be of particular interest to you.

Are you on government disability? If so, are you a beneficiary of parents' will or trust? If you are, they need a "special needs" trust possibly, so you could enjoy benefits without losing your government benefits.

As a service to you, my office will send you a complimentary copy of my CD, "Your Estate Plan" if you call in your address.

Good luck.

P.S. We will also check your powers of attorney to see if they are up to our standards at no charge.
