Re: pain & suffering

Determining a fair amount for pain and suffering compensation of the type you describe is more art than science. The amount depends on many many factors:

1. Who was at fault?

2. What are the injuries?

3. Did you lose time from work?

4. Are there any permanent injuries?

5. What are the amounts of your medical bills?

6. Have you been released from care?

There are many many more. You really should see an attorney about this if serious injuries are involved.
