Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in Arkansas
What do I do?
I am currently undergoing a lawsuit -- it has been in litigation for about 9 months. I went in to discuss another case of a car accident with my lawyer and his boss insisted on speaking with us. We have only met him once and did not know what to think. Upon arriving at the office at 3 pm.. we were put in a waiting room until a little after 5. Our lawyer was brought in and the previous case was discussed. He dismissed our layer and proceeded to ask about the old case and wanted no discussion of the new one -- the whole reason we were there. Everyone went home for the day, and he was very professional and respectful for a while. He asked to see my friend's scarring from her dogbite incident, she shut and locked the doors and obliged. He proceeded to make explicit and vulgar comments to us both for about 30 minutes while tapping her case on the desk and making innuendoes. He asked about our personal life and relationships. We did not have a tape recorder though we noted the dates and times it occured. What do we do??

Re: What do I do?
This sounds like highly unethical conduct, but there may be no other remedy than to SWITCH LAW FIRMS and file a grievance.
If you stay with this lawyer who has obviously made you so uncomfortable, how do you expect a good result? Ask for your file and find another lawyer.
