My chaper 7 was discharged in 1999 when can I remove it from my credit report? I know the law has change to 10 years but does this apply to 1999 when is the start date of the new law changing to 10 years on your credit report?

The reporting period is NOT new; I have been practicing law for 24 years and it has always been 10 years from date of discharge. You may be thinking of judgments, which only stay on your credit for 7 years.
