I filed a complaint and it was served. The opposing parties counsel filed a demurrer and motion to strike claims in the complaint.

How long do I have to file a response to the demurrer and motions to strike?

How many days prior to the hearing must I deliver a copy to the opposing parties counsel?

Your deadline to oppose the demurrer and motion to strike is based upon the hearing date of each motion. You must file and serve oppositions no later than 9 COURT days before the hearing date. (Be careful not to include weekends and holidays in your counting. You can look up the court holidays on the court's website.)

You must also serve the oppositions in a manner that is reasonably calculated to ensure delivery to the other party not later than the close of the next business day after the time the opposing papers are filed. This is typically accomplished by overnight mail.
