Legal Question in Business Law in California

personal information

i was sent a truth in lending statement, which was not closed and when received was litterally coming out of the envelope. Upon further review i found that the last 3 or 4 pages were litterally 2 other accounts/peoples information one of which was a credit denial. This is not the first time my personal info has been jeopordized and quite frankly the haphazard way of doing business by these organizations at the clients expense (identity theft in todays society is one of the top crimes) is getting a bit to commonplace, i was wondering if anything can be done?

Re: personal information

If you have nothing else better to do, you could write to the other folks and maybe they will sue.

those people whose reports you got have a claim, if you let them know what happened. If someone informs you of receiving your info, then you have a claim.
