Legal Question in Business Law in California

Rights of companies

I am starting a small "video game strategy guide" company that involves writing small books. i need to know if the words "unofficial" need to be on the cover, inside the book, or if it needs to be in the book at all.

An example is the comapny that makes the video game is "Capcom". We are not making an official "Capcom guide, so we cannot claim it as "official".

Do i need the word official anywhere in the book?

Re: Rights of companies

You will need to make it clear somehow that it is not being published or sold by the game company.
