Legal Question in Business Law in California

Wells Fargo auto loan

I have a loan with Wells Fargo Financial Acceptance Company. My payment date is 22nd of the month. When I first bought my automobile, I had Capitol One had the loan and sold it to Wells Fargo. At that time, I changed my due date from the 3rd of the month to the 22nd. Now my pay has changed back to 3rd of month. I asked Wells Fargo to change my pay date and they will not do it stating once I change it, I cannot change it again. This makes my payment late every month subjecting me to an overdue fee of $12.50. I advised them that I cannot make the payment until the 3rd, which is one day over the date to be late, that it will always be late. They would not work with me to change it. I am 68 years of age, taking care of my very ill brother and my 93 year old mother and need the vehicle. I also have a bad heart and all they do is call me every day. Is there any way I can get some help in this matter? Thank you.

Re: Wells Fargo auto loan

Can you sock away one month's payment to stay a month ahead of the game? You don't need to receive the statement to make your payment.
