Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in California

my CPA was subpoenaed for all my tax records in a law suit that has nothing at all to do with my tax records....it is purely harassment.....does he have to comply??? how should he respond?

The proper response is the filing of a motion to quash in the court where the underlying case is pending, possibly with written objections. If he does not take steps to block the subpoena or comply, then he will be in contempt.
