Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in California

Hi I was denied by my landlord to have an emotional support animal due to my disability he also accused me of not having a disability. I have lived here for over 20 years he refuses to fix my heater/ and A/C unit. I am rent control in West Hollywood. Do I have any rights without the fear of being evicted ?

Disability status and need for 'service animal' is not self proclaimed or defined.

If you are properly certified by your physician as disabled and in need of a specific service animal for that disability, and both you and the animal are properly certified by the state as trained for service animal use, then the animal can accompany you virtually anywhere.

Now, if that is the case, and you are refused access or accommodation, feel free to contact me if serious about hiring counsel to help in this.
