Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in California

What rights does a lodger have. I am a social worker for a client who is has mild developmental delays. My client owns his home and has had a non paying lodger living with him. This lodger does not like me. After bringing my client home from the hospital and waiting with him while his staff arrived, his lodger was mad and now is serving me with a paper that says "invasion of a private docile?". Meanwhile my client asked for me to be there. Does the lodger have any say in the matter?

The person is not a lodger, as that is a person who pays rent. He/she is a guest who has absolutely no right. This probably is a situation of elder abuse or abuse and the patient should tel the person to leave immediately and give them a few days to do so and then change the locks as they will otherwise come back. The paper is not a legal document.
