Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in California

I was wondering if it is illegal to have a knuckle blaster stun gun...i was being harassed and a friend mentioned that i get one..but i want to make sure it's legal first. thank u

According to a web page where they sell the things, they will ship to CA, and for all I know it is legal to possess one in CA, but in all probability you would be opening yourself up to significant civil and criminal exposure if you were to actually zap somebody with one -- unless you had a very compelling reason to use one in self-defense, and even then you would need a good lawyer to sell your story to the court. Maybe you should just enroll in a martial-arts class.
