No lie, sometimes justice in America -is- a pipe dream. Sir, with all due respect, your question is an unintelligible mishmash. You don't say what it was you were charged with, or why you believe you were arrested on a computer glitch, or how it was the judge "instructed the jury to presume" you were guilty. All you say is that you went to trial with a public defender and that you were found guilty. That part, I believe. If you were found guilty a short enough time ago, you might still have the right to file a notice of appeal or petition for habeas corpus. There are strict time limits for such things, so don't delay. Please feel free to email me, and if you provide detailed facts, I will do my best to give you a responsive answer.
