Legal Question in Construction Law in California

the outside garden sprinklers have leaked thru the plaster on the outside wall causing major damage to an 16 thousand dollar hardwood floor. the HOA denies its their responsibility and also wants me to pay for a personal foundation leakage problem. full of black mold. greenish mold, stink and mildew. i have also been siick and on antibotics for the last 6 months.. any assistance would be appreciated,,,respectfully, dan p.s. i figure its been going on since 1983

I think your situation deserves a consultation with a local attorney with experience in litigating toxic mold cases. I cannot say for sure your case is a winner, but it certainly merits evaluation by a lawyer who knows this field well and who can interview you, review the damage and the condominium contract and other documents, and advise you on your chances of prevailing and some estimate of damages you might recover.

If it is a construction defect that has been going on since 1983 your right to do anything legal about it expired in 1993.
