I guess the answer is "yes" if the question asks for a yes or no answer. If, however, the question asks whether replacement, on the one hand, versus repair, on the other, is the proper legal remedy, I don't know and I think more facts would be necessary. These would include whether the damage were accidental or intentional, the size of the hold, the value of the door, and other practical indicia of your loss.
