used car buyer rights

i purchased a car from a private party,the advertisement stated that that the car runs well(i have a copy of the ad), i signed an as is bill of sale, and pay cash. i drove it for 9 miles on my way home and the car started to release lots of smoke from the hood, cused by several transmision oil leak. the car needs a lot of michanical work. after several attempts to speak with her, she anwered my calls the next day, i told her that i want my money back, and she said that it is my problem know. do i have a chance to win a small court claim to return her the car in exchange of my money.

You have only the filing and service costs (maybe $75) to lose by going to small claims court - but let's face it, you used poor judgment in not having the car checked out before buying it "as is."
