Legal Question in Consumer Law in California

Discriminated against because of age, after contract made.

Hello and thank you!

Basically, my complaint is this. I went to a hotel and hostel in california. They accepted my business, and made a contract with me, and I paid for my bed, in a 4 bed dorm.

This was all I could afford, as I was stuck in the USA during the airport closures. After excepting my payment, and moving into my room. I was told I could not stay there, as I was too old. I was told they only gave dorm rooms to people under 30, and as I was 41 at the time, I was considered, and called ''elderly''. I was told they would give me a private room, but I would need to pay a extra $43 per night. When I refused, I was told I had to leave. I feel I was discriminated against, and that a contract was breeched.

I had to leave the hostel and find another place to stay.

I would like opinions.

thank you
