Should i give the car back or argue it

I purchesed a car 16 days a go from today, i traded in my old car adn got 1000.00 for and agreed to pay 500.00 on 6/04/07(tomarrow) the car dealership called me this after noon and was requesting for the car back due to financing not going through, well i was reading the contract and under sellers rights to cancel it states ''seller shall give buyer a written notice with in the 10 days of which this contract is sign if seller elects to cancel. Well its 16 days later never recieved letter or call until today. What is my right ?

You should not have to give the car back. The dealership will have to find financing or finance it themselves. However, if they can find you made a mistake on the application or mis-stated something like your income, they can void the transaction. I would double check your application to make sure it is 100% accurate.
