Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California

I have defaulted on a loan and believe I may have a legal problem. I am in California and have violated California Financial Lenders law division 9 code 22000.

Can you tell me what that means briefly? Thank you

You can look it up online. But, basically, it is the law that financial lenders must comply with when making loans to consumers.

Who is accusing you of violating that particular law? You are probably being improperly being threatened by a debt collector. You need to speak with a consumer law or bankruptcy attorney to discuss your options and how to stop this illegal collection activity.
