False statement by Creditor

Can a creditor lie about sennding the debtor collection letters. Chase said that they sent me notices but I never recived them they said is in the court summons and the attorney says I owe them more I did not agree to make paymennts they kept asking me relentless questions about my family and told me that if I did not take care of this debt they will take me to court they forced me to give my checking account number and one man was saying how close can you get to the amount is this a vilotation of my rights?

You've run into some aggressive (and lying) collectors. That is not unheard of. If the debt (assuming from a credit card) is more than 4 years old and you haven't paid within 4 years, the statute of limitation might have expired. You probably should not divulge any personal information!

DO NOT let the lawsuit slide. Consult with an attorney and file an appropriate and timely response with the court, and have it served by mail on plaintiff's attorney.
