mediation hearing

I am representing myself in a civil breach of contract

case. I would like to know if thus case goes to a

mediation hearing can I represent myself in the

hearing or would I need to hire an attorne

If you are an individual party you do have the right to represent yourself. HOwever, if there is a large amount of money at stake I would be very reluctant to represent myself if I were you.

Corporations can only appear in court through attorneys. This does not include small claims court. Mediation is not a court proceeding.
