wage garnishment

Chat Transcript: hello i recently finished my wage garnishment last nov. it was paid off. now they are garnishing $51.00 again. i called the levy office of torrence. now they say i owe them $500.00 for their processing fees. is this right ? how can they due this against me i never recevied a statment or papers about this. they just started makeing their deductions like they can do what ever they want with my pay check. please help me i dont know what if anything i can about this .it just dosent seem to be right. please help thank you--

Might be a fair debt violation. Depends on what the terms of the judgment are and how it was satisfied. Do you have a copy of the Court file? You will need that to do a complete analysis. If the collector is collecting an amount they are not entitled to, you have a claim against them.
