Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California

Is it worth it?

My ex owes me about $900. He signed a contact with payment plan I specified 2 years ago. He's been very flaky lately and I've noticed him that I'll take a legal action if he doesn't meet this month's payment deadline, and he missed. Now I'm looking for a lawyer who can write/send him legal letter to notify the next step. I have his last mailing address which is his parents'; however, it may not be his current one. First, what type of lawyer do I need to find for legal letter preparation? And is it worth to go through all this for the amount he owes?

Re: Is it worth it?

No, it is not worth it to hire an attorney. Take him to small claims court.
