Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

ATT. Isi Mataele, On 4/14 My Boyfriend posted a question about his girlfriend finding a phone, and being threatened by the store clerk. I am the girlfriend, Yes the store clerk was yelling at me on the phone, saying I know your name I know were you live, and these are some really mean, Bad people, either give the money or the phone. and he kept yelling they are really mean bad people, It scared me, and i was also scared for my family. I was intimidated into going ahead and giving him the 500.00. I called the store owner, and he then called me back after getting ahold of the phone owner, which only took about 2 min. I paid her in the store at the counter. and yes i did get a receipt. I asked her doesnt your phone have GPS? and she said well i didnt think about that till after i got the phone turned off. About 30 min. later I went back into the store and the store owner who was working the register, just laughed at me, didnt say anything just laughed. Even though I paid the girl, basically because I didnt want anyone threatening my children and family, Is there still a way i can do something about the threatening part of it. He honestly had me scared to death. I did feel if i didnt pay it, me and family would be in harms way. thank you so much for your help, Kellie Bennitt, my email is [email protected].
