Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
My brother ischarged with possesion of sales of meth and herion he had a little more the 14.25 ounces. My question is since the new prop 47 laws in CA can he qualify for less time than 5 yrs and 5 mos.? Or can he get the romero which is a split sentence? He has 2 prior strikes as well.. please let me know his options for his court date coming up.

Prop 47 does not affect possession for sale cases. You should talk to his lawyer about Romero or a split sentence.

Unfortunately, Prop 47 won't help him at all.
