Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

I got convited of sales of meth, I got six months in jail , 3 years joint suspention and 3 years of probation, after surving my time in jail , two years into probation I went to a bar to watch the superbowl, I got drunk and hit a tree with my car, I had a valid driver license, the cop took me to the hospital and the hospital let me out the next day, a few months later I get a warent in the mail, with the bad economy I could turn my self in because my kids need me for support , next month will be when my probation would finish, I haven't been convited yet, will it still affect me if I turn my self in after my probation is up, or will I be charged for a violation too?

If you can't afford private counsel, go talk to the Public Defender to arrange a 'turn in' on the warrant before the police come to you house with cuffs in the middle of the night. The probation violation occurred when you caused the collision, it doesn't change that or help to delay dealing with it.
