Petty theft of a textbook from a bookstore for school. Student did not plan on stealing this item but was overwhelmed with cost and in a very bad financial situation. Has a court date coming up. What should this student do when it comes to court, how should he plea and is it necessary to hire an attorney? ANY information helpful
