Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

my question is if I posted on craigs list that not to do business with some one because they are insane am I liable to be sued for slander

An individual who posts information on any website is responsible for the content. The individual writing the post is responsible and not craigslist or whatever is the posting site. Thus, if you defame someone on a website you are responsible.
