Legal Question in Discrimination Law in California

I have a child I counsel who is gay by orientation. His parents are choosing to send him to a "christian conversion camp" against his will to "pray the gay away". What are this child's legal options

It's not a choice I would make for my child, but it's not my child, it's not your child, and although you might disagree with me, and probably there are social workers and judges who disagree with me, it's not clear on the facts you've given that the parents' having conservative and strongly held religious beliefs equates to child abuse such as would justify state intervention consistent with the U.S. Constitution. If it could be shown that the parents or religious believers used abusive methods of discipline, persuasion, and/or coercion, this would change the analysis.

None, as long as there is no criminal physical abuse.
