district attorney hasnt filed casw

I was arrested may 13 of this year my court date was to day and my name wasnt on the list so I was sent to the clerk who sent me to the da office. They told me that my case has been rejected and my case was not field by the DA office. she circled ona paper she gave me

our office is currently reveiwing your case to determine if a crimanl complaint will be filed.. what does this mean for me??

What this means is that the DA does not have enough information (evidence, testimony) or knowledge about the arrest and potential charges to file a criminal complaint against you. It does not mean you're off the hook though. The DA can file the case up to the last day of the statute of limitations, if appliable. But that statute is running now. What were you charged with?
