Legal Question in DUI Law in California

Probation Violation

I got a DUI about a year ago in Fullerton. They suspended my liscense for a year because I was under the age of 21 and also on 3 year informal probation. I am now 21 and just got arrested for public intoxication in Newport Beach still on probation. They did not run any tests or breathalizer, I was outside of a bar minding my own business doing nothing wrong. My court date is scheduled for the end of the month in Newport Beach what is the worst that can happen. Can they extend my suspended license, jail time, amount of fine? Whats the best case scenario if I get a lawyer or public defender.

Re: Probation Violation

This new charge is a violation of your probation. You face potential revocation of probation and imposition or the original sentence of jail/fines on the original conviction, plus jail/fines on the new one. However, if handled correctly by your attorney, it is more likely to 'deal' this to just fines on the new charge. No guarantees. Feel free to contact me if serious about getting legal help on this.
