Legal Question in DUI Law in California

Need to now what the ticket says. There should be a charge there, with a number. A reference to a code section.

It does depends on the code, if it is 2152 a or b, it is 6 months in jail, with fines and classes.

If he was only cited for possession of alcohol in the car he is likely just looking at an infraction, punishable only by fine but subject to a one year license suspension if under the age of 21. Need to know the violation alleged on the ticket to be sure though.
