Legal Question in Elder Law in California

Elderly Neglect and Abuse

My mother is currently living with my younger sister who seems to have a great deal of undue influence on her. She controls all of my mother's finances and spends her money without my mother's permission. She has also accumulated a lot of debt in my mother's name and without her permission. She has also convince a doctor to prescribe Alzhemer's medication and Anti-depressants, even though her behavior doesn't seem to warrant it. How do I go about removing my mother from my sister's undue influence?

You would need to file a court action for conservatorship of your mother and her assets.

Re: Elderly Neglect and Abuse

By either taking her from the sister's home voluntarily, or by filing legal action for Conservatorship of her with enough proof to convince a judge of wrongdoing. If the mother and sister are located in So Cal, and you are interested in the court action, contact me to discuss facts, procedures and costs.
