voice on an album

i sang for a demo on a track. i never signed anything. then the record company released the demo on an album. that album has gone platinum. i never gave permission for my voice to be on the album and i've never been paid. Can i get paid?

You may be paid on multiple theories and causes of action. But first it would be important to know if you have tried to resolve this informally? As you can guess by the number of responses you received, you may very well have a great case.

Sounds like a good lawsuit to me! Assuming you can prove it's your voice (which you could do with witness testimony).
