Legal Question in Family Law in California

I had have 9 years of married during all of these years my husband never supported me with money. I am under mayor depression since then I have to ask my parents to help me with medications, food, etc. Question; Do I have right by law that my husband support me with money ?

It depends. You are in a short term marriage thus the standard is different then a normal long term marriage. The court uses a guideline calculation to determine spousal support which is primarily based on the income of the parties. You would also have to show a need for support as well. The fact you are depressed will not help your case. The fact you don't have money for food certainly would from a "need" standpoint.
