Legal Question in Family Law in California

I am almost 16 years old and my parents just recently divorced (it will be final in a month). My mom has custody of me but I'd rather be with my dad and he is fine with that. What do I do to get the custody arrangement changed?

What needs to be done is not by you, but by your father. He would need to file a motion with the court to modify the current order. And then, at mediation, he would need to request that you are spoken to by the mediator. Good luck.
