Legal Question in Family Law in California

anullments...

Can I file for an anullment if my wife lied about most of the things that I baised my decision on to get married in the first place. We have been married for 5 months now and a lot of the lies have come out and now I don't know if I can over look the lies.

Yes - annulment (nullity) is the way to go.

Re: anullments...

You should file your petition requesting an annulment and then in the alternative ask for a dissolution of marriage. That way if the judge decides that you are not entitled to an annulment based upon fraud he can grant a dissolution and you do not need to file a new action. Good Luck, Pat McCrary
