Legal Question in Family Law in California

I have an Auto Loan with my soon to be Ex husband, he will be keeping the car and he is terrible at making payments on time. How do I separate myself from the loan so that his delinquency doesnt affect my credit?

Only thing you can do is get an order that he refinance it, as part of your divorce settlement. You and the husband can agree to anything you want as far as allocating debt, but as between the two of you and the creditor, you're both liable for community debt.
