Legal Question in Family Law in California

In California my wife has filed for temporary spousal support. She does not work. My net per month is 2000.00. I have been on my own paying her rent at 1200-1500.00. Water 177 every two months. It seems she wants all my money to where I can't even live. I go to the hearing in 4 days and first set hearing Nov 4. And to top it all off when she was served divorce papers 2 months ago she did not respond in proper time and still not sure if she ever tried to respond aftee missed deadline. Will the judge make me continue paying her over half my take home since I already was paying to cover my but or make me pay a set percentage. Thanks
