Legal Question in Family Law in California

Need child cusdody help. The father has a good job. Supports her. He has taken her from me and kicked me oujt. I only have food stamps. She's 18mo old . Would living with family qualify as being able to support her? I dont want to loose her because he has money and I dont.

Child custody is determine by best interest of the child. Income should not be the ultimate or substantial factor. If you can't afford to care for her they should award more support. There is nothing wrong with being poor.
