Legal Question in Family Law in California

My childs mother is trying to say i abandoned my son so her husband can adopt him. While she is doing this she is refusing to let me see my child as she has been for the past year and we have been going to court so I can get some type of custody. Will he be able to adopt him? I dont want to give up my rights.

It will depend on the facts.If you don't agree with the investigation by FCS you can request a trial. You also have a right to an attorney.
