Legal Question in Family Law in California

community property during estate settlement

my wife's parents just past away. She and her sister split the estate under the term of the will. there is a third party executor. the executor has not distributed the estate yet. If my wife and i divorce before the estate is settled are the proceeds from the estate part of our community property or would i have to wait until the funds are in our joint account?
