Legal Question in Family Law in California

Can I file a dissolution based on abandonment, After his last prison sentence which started in 1999, I never heard from him again. He knows where I live, because I found him on the internet in Facebook.com and mylife.com and he is using my address as his contact information, which in fact he has never resided with me at my current address, that I have been at for over 10 years

You don't need a basis for a dissolution, all you have to do is check the box that says "irreconcileable differences" on the petittion for dissolution form.
