Legal Question in Family Law in California

I filed for divorce from my husband in March because he no longer wanted to be married to me. He moved his stripper, convicted felon girlfriend into our house with our two minor children and threw me out. He had no job, my parents were basically supporting us as my job could not cover all expenses. We have two minor children. After losing my job in CA in April and subsequently moved back to Texas in my parents house. I want to bring my children her to Texas now. Is that possible under CA law?

The concern that comes first in placement of the children is their best interests. Obviously, if father is living in a unsafe household, you have a strong argument that the children should relocate with you to Texas. This is a complicated argument that must be made for the children's benefit. Please meet with an experienced family law attorney to explore your legal options.
