Legal Question in Family Law in California

Okay so my girlfriend is age 17 and turns 18 in about 2 months. She is pregnant with our child, and we told her mother. Her mom flipped out, and is now keeping me away from my girlfriend. Is their anyway to get around her so I can see my girlfriend, and take her away from that stressful environment, which can/is causing harm to the fetus. Shes currently 10 weeks. Her mother has been yelling at her constantly, don't know if that helps or whatever

Until she is 18, or obtains a court order of emancipation, she is under her mother's absolute control. Also, you don't mention how old you are, but if you are over 18, you had best not provoke her mother unless you want to post your next question under the criminal law heading about defending yourself from statutory rape charges.

I agree with Mr. McCormick. You might want to keep a low profile until she turns 18.
