Legal Question in Family Law in California

Need info on child custody in unmarried relationship

I live with my boyfriend and his mother and his niece. recently his mom let his sister move in. problem is she an alcoholic and is constantly trying to cause troube with me and my boyfriend. my entire family lives in another state. so i need to know what i need to do to be able to take my son out of california if it comes to that. i can't make it on my own here and would need to move back with family. and i don't see it in the best interest for my son to stay here with his father. what do i need to do?

This is called a move away case. I would not try to do this case without a lawyer. If you are not married and there are no custody orders in place, there are several ways to accomplish your goal, especially if the present environment is not in the best interest of the child.
