Removing the child from their home state and concealing the child's whereabouts can be a criminal offense.

A safer approach would be to get court orders permitting the child's relocation with you to another jurisdiction. Please meet with an experienced family law attorney to explore your legal options.

It is not kidnapping, but it is a criminal offense, involving Jail or prison time. It will also reflect poorly on you as a custodial parent. Follow Ms Kock's advise and meet with an attorney.
